In 1947, Raleigh citizens adopted a council–manager kind of presidency, which remains the town's present-day form of government. Council associates are elected from solitary-member districts. They employ a metropolis manager. Note: the U.S. census treats Hispanic/Latino being an ethnic group. This table excludes Latinos from the racial groups
